An application for wild life enthusiasts providing easy access to every kind of wild life database and facility to update it. It allows user to identify a specie after providing some information in the form of photograph, chirp or observations. It gives the provision of developing a social network and other related facilities.

Design factory formed a multi-disciplinary team of students and industry professionals to form a perfect team.
Team
VTT shared facts and figures about the current state of magazine industry and what are the goals they are trying to achieve. They also share enough documentation about industry research and user research. The teams were devided in groups to do more research to understand current market.
Process
Customer research led to three major types of personas and helped us understand their customer journey of experiencing the product.
Personas
We realized that one of the top 5 trends at this time was personalization. People would follow bloggers who write articles of their interest and they would follow multiple bloggers of their choices. The idea was to enable same kind of flexibility for magazine readers.
Strategy
The idea was to do the following
- Take rights for all the magazine and individual articles
- Allow popular bloggers to customize and build their personalized set of magazine by picking up articles from various magazines.
- They can publish their magazine online.
- Followers and other users can pay to subscribe such customized magazines or even personalize one for themselves.
- Bloggers can get paid a small royalty fee from every magazine printed of their customized set of articles.
- We also created concepts on how we can make the printed magazines more interactive and engaging using QR code projected 3D objects and scented pages.
Service Design
This was a followup project to future magazine intership and a final year thesis. Print magazine industry has been declining consistently over the past few hear due to rapid growth of online content creation and consumption. This was through blogs, youtube channels, websites, etc.
The objective of this project was to identify new meaning of the future of magazines. We wanted to enhance the magazine reading experience while help  build a business strategy to strengthen the magazine industry.
